Mersin Christian Greek Orthodoxes are a part of Turkey's heterogeneous social, cultural, and religious structure. The community still maintains its centuries-old traditions and customs by providing freedom of religion and conscience under a democratic administration. Tomris Nadir Church, located in Mersin, has started its duty as one of the places of worship in the region since 1852. Tomris Nadir Church and church foundation have been continuing their existence for years with the rites and feasts they organize. Although there have been changes in the habits of the community due to historical processes, their religious life still does not lose its essence as the element that brings them together. On the occasion of this study, Greek Orthodox Christians in Turkey are examined through the example of Mersin. In this way, it aims to reach the right information about the community's religious, social, and cultural life. The changes of the community from the past to the present are also revealed.en_US
