Derbent Barajı’nın sosyal hayat üzerindeki etkileri

Bu çalışmada yapımına 1984 yılında başlanıp 1991 yılında faaliyete geçen Derbent Barajı’nın üzerine inşa edildiği Samsun’un Bafra ilçesindeki sosyal hayata yaptığı etkiler baraj yapımının yarattığı göç hareketi, tarımsal, ekonomik faaliyetler ve turizm faaliyetleri ve doğal çevre üzerindeki etkileri ele alınarak incelenmiştir. Çalışma, Derbent Barajı hakkında genel ve teknik bilgileri içermektedir ve barajın üzerinde bulunduğu bölgenin seçilme sebepleri, Devlet Su İşleri’nin Derbent Barajı’nı inşa etmesindeki hedefleri ve barajın Türkiye’ye olan katkıları hakkında da bilgi vermektedir. Çalışma; çeşitli kitap, makale ve haber yazıları ve sözlü kaynaklar ile yapılan röportajlardan yararlanılarak yazılmıştır.

In this study, the effects of the Derbent Dam, which was started to build in 1984 and started operating in 1991, on the social life in the Bafra district of Samsun, on which it was built, were examined by considering the migration movement created by the construction of the dam, agricultural, economic activities and tourism activities, and its effects on the natural environment. The study includes general and technical information about the Derbent Dam and also gives information about the reasons for the selection of the region on which the dam is located, the objectives of the State Hydraulic Works in constructing the Derbent Dam and the contributions of the dam to Turkey. The study was written by benefitting various books, articles and news articles and interviews with oral sources.
