dc.description.abstract | Although the cause of cerebral palsy, which was officially introduced into the medical literature in the 19th century, is still unknown, it is now recognized as a lack of body control due to the absence of oxygen to the brain before, during and after birth. There are obvious effects such as incontinence, wheezing and abnormal muscle contraction that need to be considered in diagnosing this type of obstacle. The exact treatment of this type of disability, where 1 out of every 1000 children has been caught, is unknown, but the disease can be cured to some extent by means of physiotherapy or a number of devices brought from abroad. In the second part, psychological, sociological, environmental, financial problems and inadequacies in education and health of parents with children with special needs are mentioned as a result of various researches conducted in the 19th and 20th centuries. In this study conducted with individuals with this disability, it was learned that what is difficult for the disabled is the society's perspective towards them and what the state and the families should do. In the last section, Turkish foundations and associations are mentioned and the projects and campaigns that have been carried out since the 20th century in order to contribute financially and morally to this war are explained.
