Olimpos etrafında gelişen turizm ve turizm etrafında gelişen Olimpos

Abstract

Bu çalışma Anadolu medeniyetleri için kültürel açıdan önemli bir merkez haline gelmiş olan antik kent Olimpos ve Olimpos çevresinde gelişen turizmi konu almaktadır. Turizmden önceki dönem Olimpostan başlayarak bölgenin arka plan tarihi ve coğrafyasını konu almaktadır. Tarihi kentteki kazı çalışmaları başlamadan önceki durumundan bahsedilmektedir. Turizme başlayan insanların hikayelerine röportajlar aracılığı ile bakış atılmaktadır. Ayrıca bu süreçte Olimposun yaşadığı değişimi incelemekte turizm ve Olimpos antik kentinin içerisinde olduğu simbiyotik ilişkiden bahsedilmektedir. Olimposun medyaya nasıl yansıdığı hangi olaylara ve yerlere önem verildiği belirtilmektedir. Ayrıca bölgenin nasıl turizm merkezi haline geldiği incelenmektedir. Olimpos'u, Antalya’nın diğer popüler turistik bölgeleri olan Kaş veya Kemer gibi yerlerden ayıran doğal güzellikleri, tarihi yapıları ve çevresindeki bozulmamış ekosistem gibi özelliklerine değinilmektedir.

This study is about the ancient city of Olympos, which has become a culturally important center for Anatolian civilizations, and the tourism that developed around Olympos. The period before tourism begins, starting from Olympos, covers the background history and geography of the region. The situation before the excavations in the historical city is discussed. The stories of people who started tourism are looked at through interviews. In addition, the change that Olympos experienced during this process is examined, and the symbiotic relationship between tourism and the ancient city of Olympos is mentioned. It is stated how Olympos is reflected in the media and which events and places are given importance. It also examines how the region became a tourism center. The features that distinguish Olympos from other popular tourist areas of Antalya, such as Kaş or Kemer, such as its natural beauties, historical structures, and the unspoiled ecosystem around it, are discussed.
