When the Russian Empire annexed Crimea in the year of 1783, the migrations from Crimea to other countries- including to the Ottoman country, had begun. The migration of the Crimean Tatars to Turkey has lasted until the 19th century. The village of Ballıkpınar in Ankara has become one of the cultural centers for the Crimean Tatar diaspora. In this study, the struggles the Crimean Tatars who have migrated to the village of Ballıkpınar have experienced during and after the migration will be examined, and the question of how they were able to overcome these struggles will be explained. Furthermore, how they have preserved their culture and traditions, and during the adaptation stage to Turkey, what kind of changes their national identites have went through will also be explained.en_US
