| dc.description | The History of Turkey course (HIST200) is a requirement for all Bilkent undergraduates. It is designed to encourage students to work in groups on projects concerning any topic of their choice that relates to the history of Turkey. It is designed as an interactive course with an emphasis on research and the objective of investigating events, chronologically short historical periods, as well as historic representations. Students from all departments prepare and present final projects for examination by a committee, with 10 projects chosen to receive awards. | en_US |

Bunun yanı sıra Bilkent Üniversitesi Mütercim Tercümanlık Bölümü’nden ve Türkiye’de çeviri sektörünün tarihinden bahsedilmiştir. Araştırmada ayrıca çeviri dalları, dernekleri ve Türkiye’deki diğer üniversitelerin çeviri bölümleri anlatılmıştır. | en_US |

Within the scope of the research, Tanju İnal's academic and social life, the articles she wrote, the awards she received, and her contributions to the translation industry were examined. In addition, Bilkent University Department of Translation and Interpretation and the history of the translation industry in Turkey are mentioned. Translation departments of translation branches, associations and other universities in Turkey were also explained in the research. | en_US |
