Türkiye’de okçuluk tarihi ve Öktem ailesi

Abstract

Araştırma ilk olarak okçuluğun Türkiye’deki tarihinden söz etmektedir. Daha sonra Erol Öktem, Zehra Öktem ve Çiğdem Öktem’in okçuluk hayatı, başarıları, çektiği zorluklar ve Öktem ailesinin modern okçuluğa olan katkılarından bahsedilmektedir. Türkiye’de okçuluğu güncel olarak işleyen modern okçuluk kaynağı bulunmaması sebebiyle Okçuluk Federasyonunun kuruluşu göz önünde bulundurulmuştur. Ardından Erol Öktem ve Zehra Öktem’in hayatından bahsedilip, Erol Öktem’in okçuluğa başlaması ve Zehra Öktem’i de nasıl okçuluğa başlattığı anlatılmıştır. Okçuluğa başlayan Zehra Öktem’in, okçuluğa nasıl başladığı, kendini nasıl geliştirdiği ve ne tür başarılar elde ettiği işlenmiştir. Son olarak Çiğdem Öktem’in hayatı ve başarılarına da yer verilmiştir.

The study is done firstly by mentioning archery’s history in Turkey. Then, Erol Öktem’s, Zehra Öktem’s and Çiğdem Öktem’s archery background, their successes, obstacles, and their contributions to modern archery are examined. Because in Turkey there are no contemporary references about archery the founding of the federation for archery has been investigated. After that, the lives of Zehra Öktem and Erol Öktem are introduced, how Erol Öktem started archery and how he made Zehra Öktem start archery are conveyed. Zehra Öktem’s successes and how she managed with archery are investigated. Çiğdem Öktem’s life story and successes are also mentioned.
