1990’lı yıllarda spor yazarlığının inceliklerinin anlaşılması için zamanın spor yazarları ile yapılan görüşmeler sonucunda dönemin spor basını açısından ortaya çıkmış en belirgin değişiklikler tespit edilerek bunlar ayrı başlıklar altında incelenmiştir. Dönemin öne çıkan birincil özelliği olan değişim ve evrimin nasıl gerçekleştiği, sonuçları ve günümüze yansıyan etkileri nitelik ve istatistiki veriler ile nicelik olarak incelenmiştir. Varılan sonuçta günümüzde spor yazarlığının bu kadar belirgin hale gelmiş olmasında, sektörün 1990’lı yıllarda geçirdiği yapısal, içeriksel ve finanslar değişikliklerin çokça etkisi olduğu ortaya konmuştur.

In order to understand the details of sports writing in the 1990s, the most significant changes that emerged in terms of sports press of 1990s were examined by interviewing sports writers of the time and this examination has been supported with articles has written by other sports writers. How the change and evolution, which is the prominent primary feature of the period, took place, its results and its effects reflected to the present day were examined in terms of quality and quantity. As a result, it has been revealed that the structural, content and financial changes that the sector went through in the 1990s have a great effect on the fact that sports writing has become so prominent today.
