"Orda bir köy var uzakta": Kemaliye'nin kültürel mirasları

Abstract

Bu çalışmada Erzincan ilinde bulunan Kemaliye ilçesinin Türkiye tarihindeki yeri, demografik özellikleri, kültürel yapı taşları birincil ve ikincil kaynaklar eşliğinde incelenerek Kemaliye’nin UNESCO’nun Geçici Miras Listesine girmesinin, UNESCO Kalıcı Miras Listesine ise güçlü bir aday olmasının sebepleri irdelenmiştir. Bu araştırmada kaynak olarak bölgenin miraslarını yansıtan tarihi eser ve belgelerin yanında bizzat Kemaliye’nin demografik ve kültürel yapısına tanıklık etmiş olan Kemaliyeli Prof. Dr. Ali Demirsoy ile görüşülmüştür. Bu çalışma kapsamında UNESCO Geçici Miras Listesine girişte gerekli şartlar gözetilerek Kemaliye ilçesinin tarihi ve kültürel yapısı incelemesi üzerine yapılmıştır, bu inceleme sonucu Kemaliye’nin Kalıcı Miras Listesine adaylığı için gerekli olabilecek faktörler araştırmak amaçlanmıştır.

In this study, the place of Kemaliye district in Erzincan province in the history of Turkey, demographic characteristics, cultural building blocks were examined with primary and secondary sources, and the reasons why Kemaliye was included in the UNESCO Temporary Heritage List and was a strong candidate for the UNESCO Permanent Heritage List were examined. Prof Dr. Ali Demirsoy, who personally witnessed the demographic and cultural structure of Kemaliye, as well as historical artifacts and documents reflecting the legacies of the region as a source in this research. Within the scope of this study, the historical and cultural structure of Kemaliye district was examined by taking into account the necessary conditions for entering the UNESCO Temporary Heritage List. As a result of this study, it was aimed to investigate the factors that may be necessary for Kemaliye's nomination to the UNESCO’s Permanent Heritage List.
