Mekansal anlamda yeni yapı: Tiyatroda karakutu ve Türkiye'deki gelişimi

Abstract

Bu makalede tiyatroda mekânsal bir form olan karakutu (blackbox) ele alınmıştır. Önce tiyatro mimarisi (tiyatro yapıları) hakkında kısa bir bilgilendirme yapılmış ve farklı yapılar tanıtılmıştır. Karakutunun nerede ortaya çıktığı açıklandıktan sonra Türkiye‟ye gelişi ve gelişimi incelenmiş, sanatçıları bu yapıyı kullanmaya iten nedenler irdelenmiştir. Aynı zamanda ortaya çıkan ve karakutunun bağımsız olarak düşünülemeyeceği in-yer-face akımının tiyatro oyunlarına ve seyirciye etkisi nedenleriyle beraber incelenmiştir. Blackbox‟la beraber gelen değişimleri anlayabilmek için bu akımdan önce Türkiye‟de sahne sanatlarının nasıl olduğu bilgisine de yer verilmiş, blackbox‟ın Türk Tiyatrosu‟na etkisi ve aldığı tepkiler dönem kaynakları yardımıyla okuyucuya sunulmuştur.

In this article, a form of architecture in theatre, blackbox, is investigated. A brief introduction is given about theatrical architecture, different structures are introduced. After the origin of blackbox structure is explained, blackbox's arrival to Turkey is viewed, the reasons behind why performers choose this new structure are discussed. A deep investigation is carried out about in-yer-face movement (and its effects on acts and audience), which cannot be considered independently from blackbox. A research is conducted about how performing acts were before blackbox came to Turkey in order to be able to understand the changes, the effects of blackbox to Turkish theatre and reactions from the audience are presented to reader with the help of relevant sources.
