1940-1947 arasında Türkiye'de basın

Abstract

Türkiye'deki 1940 ve 1947 yılları arasındaki basın özgürlüğünü incelediğimiz bu çalışmada öncelikle dönemin şartlarını, tek parti rejimini ve savaş yıllarındaki ülkenin genel vaziyetini incelendik. Dönemi basın özgürlüğü çerçevesinde incelerken önemli gazeteler teker teker incelendi. Birçok gazeteye sansür uygulanan bu dönemde sınırlı sürelerle ve sınırsız olarak kapatılan gazeteler listelendi. Dönemin baskıcılığı hem muhalif hem de yandaş gazeteciler tarafından anlatıldığı kaynaklar aracılığı ile incelendi. Bu kısıtlamalara zemin hazırlayan yasalardan bahsedildi. Cumhuriyet, Ulus, Tan, Vatan, Yeni Sabah, Vakit, Son Posta, Tanin, Akşam, Tasvir-i Efkâr ve Markopaşa gazeteleri incelenerek dönemin genel basın vaziyeti ile ilgili bir çerçeve çizildi.

We have studied the era's condition and the one-party regime while we were researching about freedom of the press in Turkey between 1940 and 1947. While we were examining this era within the framework of the freedom of the press, the substantial newspapers were analyzed one by one. The important newspapers that were closed both permanently and temporarily are listed. The oppressiveness of the period was told through both proponent and opponent journalists of the government. The laws providing a basis to the restrainments of the era were referred. Via Cumhuriyet, Ulus, Tan, Vatan, Yeni Sabah, Vakit, Son Posta, Tanin, Akşam, Tasvir-i Efkâr and Markopaşa, the frame of the general press condition between 1940 and 1947 was drawn.
