Çukurova Holding: Kuruluşu ve büyüme süreci

Bu çalışmada, Erken Cumhuriyet Dönemi'nde, ekonomik alanda yapılan kalkınma planları ve bu planlar doğrultusunda kurulan Çukurova Holding'in, Çukurova Bölgesi ve ülke ekonomisindeki yeri ele alınmıştır. Çalışma, dönemin ülke ekonomisini, dönemdeki sanayileşmeyi, dönemde izlenen politikaları, ilk başta dokuma fabrikası olarak kurulan, daha sonra gelişmesiyle birlikte holdinge dönüşen Çukurova Grubu'nu araştırmıştır. Ayrıca 1966 yılında holdingin başına geçen Mehmet Emin Karamehmet'i, hayatını ve şirkete getirdiği yenilikleri de incelemiştir. Bunlara ek olarak, Çukurova Holding'in telekomünikasyon ve iletişim alanında ülkeye getirdiği yeniliklere de değinilmiştir.

In this study, the development plans that were made upon the economic sense in the early republic period, and the economical importance of Çukurova Holding, which was established upon these plans, for Çukurova region and the country are handled. This study researches the economy and the industrialization of the country, and the policies that were followed in this period, and The Çukurova Group which was first established as a textile factory and then turned into holding after its development. It also studies thelife of Mehmet Emin Karamehmet who became the chairman in 1966 and the innovations made by him. In addition to these the innovations on telecommunication made by Çukurova Holding are mentioned.
