dc.description | The History of Turkey course (HIST200) is a requirement for all Bilkent undergraduates. It is designed to encourage students to work in groups on projects concerning any topic of their choice that relates to the history of Turkey. It is designed as an interactive course with an emphasis on research and the objective of investigating events, chronologically short historical periods, as well as historic representations. Students from all departments prepare and present final projects for examination by a committee, with 10 projects chosen to receive awards. | |

dc.description.abstract | İstanbul Baharat, insanlara sağlık alanında yardımcı olabilmek amacıyla 1954 yılında Vehbi Kırıcı tarafından Ankara'da kurulmuştur. Bu makalede, üçüncü nesil olarak aile mesleği olan baharatçılığı devam ettiren Mustafa Kırıcı'yla yapılan röportajdan birincil kaynak olarak yararlanılmıştır. Buna ek olarak, çeşitli gazetelere, akademik makalelere, çeşitli belgesellere ise ikincil kaynak olarak başvurulmuştur. | |
dc.description.abstract | İstanbul Baharat was founded in Ankara by Vehbi Kırıcı in Ankara with the purpose of helping individuals having problems in the field of health. In this article, the interview with Mustafa Kırıcı, who currently continues spice-selling as a third generation family profession, was used as a primary source. In addition, various newspapers, academic articles and various documentaries were used and examined as secondary sources. | |
