dc.descriptionThe History of Turkey course (HIST209) is a requirement for all Bilkent undergraduates. It is designed to encourage students to work in groups on projects concerning any topic of their choice that relates to the history of Turkey. It is designed as an interactive course with an emphasis on research and the objective of investigating events, chronologically short historical periods, as well as historic representations. Students from all departments prepare and present final projects for examination by a committee, with 10 projects chosen to receive awards.

dc.description.abstractAzerbaijan and Turkey relationship is one of the strongest relationships among Turanian countries. This paper will study and analyze Azerbaijan and Turkey relationship after Soviet Union and their special relationship between them. This paper will look into how relationship reform between two countries after Soviet Union collapse and how this reformation process makes their relationship special and unique. We use news about Turkey and Azerbaijan signed documents from primary sources, which support their special and strong relationship. We also present Turkey's relationship with other countries to make it more understandable and to facilitate comparisons among countries' relationships.
dc.description.abstractAzerbaycan ve Türkiye ilişkileri Turan ülkeleri arasında en güçlü ilişkilerden biridir. Bu makale, Azerbaycan ve Türkiye'nin Sovyetler Birliği'nden sonra ilişkileri ve aralarındaki özel ilişkilerini inceleyecek ve analiz edecek. Bu makale, Sovyetler Birliği'nin çöküşünden sonra iki ülkenin ilişkilerinin nasıl reformlandığını ve bu reform sürecinin ilişkilerini nasıl özel ve eşsiz hale getirdiğini inceleyecek. İlk kaynaklardan Türkiye ve Azerbaycan'ın imzalanan belgeleriyle ilgili haberleri kullanıyoruz. Bu belge onların özel ve güçlü ilişkilerini desteklemektedir. Türkiye'nin diğer ülkelerle olan ilişkileri daha anlaşılabilir hale getirmek ve ülkelerin ilişkilerinin karşılaştırılmasını kolaylaştırmak için de sunuyoruz.
