Başkentteki şehirler arası yolcu taşımacılığına tarihsel bir bakış: yazıhaneler ve terminaller

Abstract

Ankara ulaşımı 1960’lı yıllardan günümüze birçok değişim ve gelişime uğramıştır. Çeşitli sebeplerle Ankara hızlı bir şehirleşme sürecine girmiş ve bu hızlı şehirleşmenin etkisiyle Ankara’da gecekondu, altyapı ve ulaşım sorunları ortaya çıkmıştır. Makalede, Ankara’nın 1960’lardan günümüze şehirler arası ulaşımının bu durumlardan nasıl etkilendiği ele alınmaktadır. Etlik Garajı ile başlayan terminalleşme süreci AŞOT ile devam etmiş ve AŞTİ ile son bulmuştur. Terminallere paralel olarak bilet satışı ve yolcu indirip bindirme yazıhaneler ile de gerçekleştirilmiştir. Bu yazıhaneler de tarihsel süreçte birçok değişikliğe uğramıştır.

Ankara transportation has undergone many changes and developments since the 1960s. For various reasons, Ankara has entered a rapid urbanization process, and with the effect of this rapid urbanization, slums, infrastructure and transportation problems have emerged in Ankara. The article discusses how Ankara's intercity transportation has been affected by these situations from the 1960s to the present. The terminalization process, which started with Etlik Garage, continued with AŞOT and ended with AŞTİ. In parallel with the terminals, ticket sales and passenger loading and unloading were also carried out through offices. These offices have also undergone many changes throughout history.
