Keeping handicrafts alive is more important nowadays than ever before, from a historical perspective. Because people live in a society that tends to consume more and more every day as a result of technological developments. One of the areas in Ankara that tries to keep these crafts alive is Ankara Castle and its surroundings. Therefore, in this article, the contribution of a centuries-old craft, namely rug making, to the cultural structure around Ankara Castle is discussed through the shop named "Antika Halı".
