| dc.description | The History of Turkey course (HIST200) is a requirement for all Bilkent undergraduates. It is designed to encourage students to work in groups on projects concerning any topic of their choice that relates to the history of Turkey. It is designed as an interactive course with an emphasis on research and the objective of investigating events, chronologically short historical periods, as well as historic representations. Students from all departments prepare and present final projects for examination by a committee, with 10 projects chosen to receive awards. | en_US |

| dc.description.abstract | Kuruluşu 1937 yılına dayanmakla birlikte,1969 yılında adı değişip son haline alan Kardemir Karabükspor takımının kuruluşuna ilişkin Kardemir Demir Çelik Fabrikasıyla ilişkisi ve fabrika işçilerinin bu takımın oluşmasındaki rolü bu araştırma makalesinde araştırılmıştır. Karabükspor’un Karabük şehrindeki önemi ve yurt içi-yurt dışı başarılarına değinilmiştir. Logosundaki renklerin ve ambleminin anlamı incelenmiştir. Futbol dışındaki branşlarda ne tür başarılara sahip olduğundan bahsedilmiştir. Özellikle Tekerlekli Sandalye Basketbol Takımı’nın kuruluşu ve yeniden başka bir isimle doğuşu incelenmiştir. Araştırmanın son kısmında ise son zamanlardaki durumundan bahsedilmiştir. | en_US |
| dc.description.abstract | Karabukspor was founded in 1937 and completed its development in 1969 by changing its name to Kardemir Karabukspor. This study examines relationships between Kardemir Demir Çelik Factory and the team of Kardemir Karabukspor and explains the role of Karabuk Demir Çelik Factory workers in the creation of this sports club. Also it explains the importance of Karabukspor for Karabuk and the success of the team both domestic and overseas achievements. The colors in the logo and the meaning of the emblem are explained in detail. Not only football but also other achievements on different branches are explained in this study. Especially Wheelchair Basketball Team’s establishment and creation of the new team with a new name stated. In the final part of the study, recent accomplishments and the current statement of Karabukspor are explained. | en_US |
