Gül Onat’ın yorumuyla 1980-2000 yılları arasında Türk tiyatrosu ve sineması

Abstract

Toplumda sanat ve kültürel anlamda büyük yere sahip Türk tiyatrosu 20. yüzyılın son yirmi yıllarında girerken özellikle de 12 Eylül 1980 darbesi ardından yaşanan siyasi, toplumsal, ekonomik ve kültürel değişimlerin etkisiyle zor zamanlar yaşamıştır. O dönem Türkiye’de görülen depolitizasyon ile Türk tiyatrosu da önceki yıllara oranla bir tür çöküş dönemine girmiştir. Oyun yazarlığında durulma, seyircinin ilgisinin kaybolması ve tiyatronun diğer medya türlerinin gerisinde kalması gibi sorunlar yaşanmıştır. Bu dönemler tiyatro kariyerinin en hareketli zamanları olan Gül Onat kariyerini bu değişimlerin etrafında şekillendirmek zorunda kalmıştır. Bu çalışmada 1980- 2000 yılları arasında darbe sonrası yaşanan gelişmeler ışığında Türk devletinin ve toplumunun Türk tiyatrosuyla olan ilişkisi ile Gül Onat’ın bu dönemler hakkındaki yorumları incelenmiştir.

Turkish theater, which holds an important place in Turkish society in terms of art and culture, had a hard time in the last two decades of the 20th century, primarily due to the political, social, economic, and cultural changes that took place after the 1980 Turkish coup d'état. Due to the rising effects of depoliticization in Turkey at that time, the Turkish theater also entered a period of collapse compared to its previous years. There have been problems such as stagnation in playwriting, the loss of interest of the audience, and the theater lagging behind other media genres. Gül Onat had to shape her career around these changes during these periods, which were the most active times of her theater career. In this study, the interaction between the Turkish state and the Turkish society with the Turkish theater and Gül Onat's reviews for this period have been examined.
