The ongoing struggles and attacks that continued for years between the Turks and Greeks living in Cyprus made England to promote a conference in London about the issue. While the conference was proceeding, the news about Atatürk’s house in Thessaloniki was being bombed spread among people and gathered a great reaction. The people who were enraged by this news started to make the pogrom known as 6-7 September events real and the Cyprus issue has become an international problem that has its effects until today. In this article, events of 6-7 September in İstanbul will be examined.en_US
