Türk televizyonculuk tarihinin en uzun süre (25 yıl) yayınlanan müzik programı: Pop Saati (Erhan Konuk)

Türkiye’de kamu yayıncılığının adresi olan Türkiye Radyo ve Televizyon Kurumu (TRT), müzik yayınlarına her zaman önem vermiştir. Ancak yabancı müzik ilk başlarda daha çok dolgu malzemesi olarak kullanılmış ve yabancı video kliplerle hazırlanmış bir program olan Pop Saati’nin yayına başlamasına kadar bir program olarak planlanmamıştır. Pop Saati’nin yayında kaldığı 25 yıl boyunca, programı hazırlayan ve sunan Erhan Konuk, plak firmalarının TRT’ye sağladığı geniş video klip arşivi ile izleyicilerle buluşmuştur. 1980’lerde müzik kliplerine ulaşmak günümüzdeki gibi kolay olmadığı için müzikseverlerin ihtiyacını karşılamış ve bilgilerini güncellemiştir. Program ayrıca, dünyadan örnekleri geniş kitlelerle paylaşarak Türkiye’de video klip sektörünün gelişmesine de katkıda bulunmuştur. Bu çalışmada Pop Saati’nin yapımcı ve sunucusu Erhan Konuk ve sırasıyla programın yönetim, montaj ve denetim aşamalarında görev yapmış olan Yeşim Kazazoğlu, Nuri Leblebici ve Osman Baş ile röportaj yapılmıştır. Programın geçirdiği aşamalar ile yayın ve sektöre etkisi konusunda fikirleri alınmıştır.

Music has always been important for the Turkish Radio and Television Corporation (TRT) which is the address of public broadcasting in Turkey. However, foreign music was used as a filling material in the beginning and it was not planned as a program until the release of Pop Saati, a program prepared with foreign video clips. During the 25 years of the broadcast of Pop Saati, Erhan Konuk, the producer and presenter of the program, met the audience with the large video clip archive that the record companies provided to TRT. Since it was not easy to access music videos in the 1980s, it met the needs of music lovers and updated their knowledge. The program also contributed to the development of the video clip sector in Turkey by sharing examples from around the world. In this study, interviews were made with Erhan Konuk, the producer and presenter of Pop Saati, and Yeşim Kazazoğlu, Nuri Leblebici and Osman Baş, who served in the management, editing and supervision processes of the program respectively. Their ideas and comments about the stages under which the program went through and its impact on the broadcasting and the sector, were received.
