Ankara Binicilik İhtisas Spor Kulübü'nün tarihi

Bu çalışmanın amacı, Ankara Binicilik İhtisas Spor Kulübünün misyonu ve vizyonu araştırmak, genel binicilik ve Türkiye’de biniciliğin tarihi hakkında kısa bilgi vermektir. Eski toplumların yaşamında önemli yer kaplayan atın binek hayvanı olarak kullanılması dünya tarihinde büyük bir adımdır. Bunun yanı sıra at, toplumların sosyal, siyasî, ekonomik ve askerî hayatında da vazgeçilmez bir yere sahiptir. At, Anadolu, Mezopotamya ve Asya'da kurulan eski medeniyetlerin günlük hayatlarında büyük bir yer alsa da Türkler ehlileştirmesi ile beraber atın kullanım amaçlarını çoğaltmışlardır. Hem Osmanlı İmparatorluğunda hem de Türkiye Cumhuriyeti Döneminde at ve binicilik bütün kültür öğelerine yön veren bir etken olmuştur. Ankara Binicilik İhtisas Kulübü ise Cumhuriyet Döneminde, Mustafa Kemal Atatürk tarafından Türkiye’yi temsil etmek için gönderilen dört delegeden biri olan Saim Polatkan ve arkadaşları tarafından kurulmuştur. Ankara Binicilik İhtisas Kulübü’nün misyonu, biniciliği bir yaşam biçimi haline getirmektir.

This study aims to investigate the mission and vision of Ankara Binicilik İhtisas Club and give brief information about equestrianism and the history of equestrianism in Turkey. The use of the horse as a riding animal, which occupies an important place in the life of ancient societies, is a great step in the history of the world, in addition, the horse has an indispensable place in the social, political, economic, and military life of societies. Although the horse took a great place in the daily lives of the ancient civilizations established in Anatolia, Mesopotamia, and Asia, the Turks increased the usage of the horse with the domestication of the horse. Both in the Ottoman Empire and the Turkish Republican Period, horse and equestrian were a factor shaping all cultural elements. Ankara Binicilik Ihtisas Club was founded in the Republican Period by Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, one of the four delegates sent to represent Turkey in Mussolini Races, by Saim Polatkan and his friends. The mission of Ankara Binicilik İhtisas Club is to make horse riding a way of life.
