Ziraat fakültesi öğrencilerinin gözünden Ankara'da 1978 kuşağı

Abstract

İdeolojik farklılıklar kaynaklı ayrılıkların yoğun bir şekilde görüldüğü 1960-1980 döneminde meydana gelen şiddetli siyasi çatışmaların kökeni dünya ve Türkiye’nin belirtilen zaman diliminde siyasi ve ekonomik konjonktüründeki değişimlere dayanmaktadır. Üniversite öğrencileri dönemin en etkin aktörleri olmuş, üniversite kampüsleri bir siyasi üs haline gelmiştir. İdeolojik farklılıkların gruplaştırdığı 1978 Kuşağı üniversite öğrencileri kampüslerde, sokaklarda birbirleriyle ve polis güçleri ile çatışmıştır. Ankara Üniversitesi Ziraat Fakültesi de 1970-1980 dönemi sağ ve sol gruba mensup öğrencilerin kimi zaman kayıplarla sonuçlanan çatışmalarına şahitlik etmiş, üniversite yönetiminin olayları kontrol altına alamadığı noktalarda akademik hayatta kesintiler yaşanmıştır. 1980 Darbesi’nin ülkede yarattığı büyük değişiklikler dönemin üniversite öğrencilerinin hayatlarını da derinden etkilemiştir.

The origin of the violent political conflicts that took place in the 1960-1980 period, when separations due to ideological differences were seen intensely, are based on the changes in the political and economic conjuncture of the world and Turkey in the specified time period. University students became the most active actors of the period, and university campuses became a political base. The 1978 Generation university students grouped by ideological differences clashed with each other and with the police forces on campuses and on the streets. Ankara University Faculty of Agriculture witnessed the clashes between right and left students in the 1970-1980 period, which sometimes resulted in losses, and academic life was interrupted at points where the university administration could not control the events. The great changes created by the 1980 Coup in the country deeply affected the lives of university students of the period.
