Kuruluşundan Bugüne TOGO

Abstract

Bu projede, Türkiye’de kurulmuş bir ayakkabı markası olan TOGO’nun tarihi incelenmiştir. İlk olarak TOGO’nun Kuruluşu başlığı altında Türkiye’de ayakkabıcılık tarihinden, TOGO markasının kuruluşu ve isminin oluşmasından, devamında da TOGO fabrikasının açılmasıyla seri üretime geçişten bahsedilmiştir. İkinci başlıkta TOGO markasının sektörde ilerlemesi ele alınmış ve marka adının Türkiye’de duyulmasına, franchise sistemine ve yurt dışındaki projelerine değinilmiştir. Son olarak fabrikanın kapatılmasının nedenleri ve devamında gerçekleşen olayların incelenmesiyle projemiz noktalanmıştır. Proje için markanın yönetim kurulu üyesi Ahmet Kuşgöz ve markanın modelisti Lale Bahçecitapar ile röportaj yapılmış olmasının yanı sıra aile arşivine ait fotoğraflara ve gazete haberlerine de erişim sağlanmıştır. Konuyla ilgili yazılan makaleler ve haberlerden yararlanılmıştır. In this study, the history of the TOGO, which is one of the shoe brands in Turkey, has been researched. The history of shoemaking in Turkey, the foundation of TOGO, and the occurrence of the brand's name have been covered in the first title named the foundation of TOGO. Then, the opening of the TOGO factory and the transition to mass production have been mentioned. As for the second title, the improvement of TOGO has been stated. In the subtitles of the second title, the process of the brand’s spreading, its franchise system, and international projects of the brand have been indicated. Finally, the project ended with the reasons for the closure of the TOGO factory and the following events. Ahmet Kuşgöz and Lale Bahçecitapar have been interviewed and also, photographs and newspapers from the family archive have been accessed. Articles and news written on our topic have been used.
