Item Restricted Saudi Arabian School in Ankara(Bilkent University, 2020) Alzahrani, Raghad; Baymuhammedov, Abdyrahman; Nakatova, Daria; Nasır, Maheen; Magtymov, HezretThe Saudi Arabian school is considered to be a catalyst for and an entity that enhances good relationships between Turkey and Saudi Arabia. The paper aims to justify that the school played an important role in doing so in the 80s and 90s of the 20th century, by showing the positive and enthusiastic attitudes of and attention paid from both Turkish and Saudi Arabian governments towards the school and its growth. Moreover, the school created a new international environment, where students can have an education that relates to their culture and religion even in a country that has a different language. The school also tried to be a part of the community by participating in Turkish events and activities. However, the school didn't interfere or interact in any political issues, where the two countries understand the beneficial relationship. The paper has concluded that the existence of the Saudi school in Turkey is important for creating a multicultural society, and that has been shown through the support of the Turkish government from the establishment of the Saudi school, where that shows the strong relationship between the two countries.
