Item Open Access Bir fakelore örneği olarak Çağan Irmak’ın “takip”i(Geleneksel Yayıncılık, 2009) Aka, B.Bu yazıda, Walter J. Ong’un “birincil sözlü kültür” ve “ikincil sözlü kültür” tanımlarından hareketle ikincil sözlü kültür ürünü olarak adlandırabilecek olan Çağan Irmak’ın Takip adlı filminde, birincil sözlü kültür ürünlerinden olan mitolojiden nasıl yararlanıldığı incelenmeye çalışılmıştır. Sorulan sorularla Takip’te kullanılan kurt adam motifinin Türk mitolojisinde yeri olup olmadığı tartışılmış ve kurt adam mitinin Türk mitoloji ve efsanesinde bir bağlamı olmadığı sonucuna varılmıştır. Bu sonuçtan yola çıkılarak yazıda, ikinci bir tartışma konusu olarak Takip’in bir “fakelore” örneği olup olmadığı sorusu ortaya atılmış ve bu soruya cevap aranmıştır.Item Open Access Kalp Gözü, legend and secondary oral culture(2005) Tunç, G.This article aims to analyze a TV show called "Kalp Gözü" and broadcasted by Kanal 7 in terms of folklore. To this end first, the relationship between "Kalp Gözü" and legend, one of the oral literary woks, will be questioned. It is emphasized that the cases dealt with in "Kalp Gözü" are not fictional, but experienced as real events. The parallelism between emphases on the reality of the events and "memorat"s will be displayed by means of an analysis. Additionally there are characters that are appeared in 22 episodes taken into consideration and characteristics of legendary heroes stated in the Motif Index of Stith Thompson will be compared, and stereotypes will be concretized. In the last part of the article, the given data will be evaluated in the light of Walter J. Ong's "secondary oral culture" concept.Item Open Access Old Wines in the "New Bottles": Ekmek Teknesi, a series telling folk tales(2005) Demirkol, N.This article aims to analyze the usage of oral culture in the era of electronic mass communication. Water J. Ong's "primary oral culture" and "secondary oral culture" terms was the basis of this study. In this frame a television series, called Ekmek Teknesi which is chosen as a representative of secondary oral culture, characteristics and functions of folk tales and storyteller are compared and contrasted. The result of this comparison lead us to the conclusion that not only outstanding character of the series Heredot Cevdet the storyteller but the series, itself, has the characteristics and functions of a folk tale similar to the ones in the primary oral culture. This article claims that Turkish society which has still got most of the characteristics of a primary oral culture society and which has not exactly adapted to the urban life yet, need a story teller to remind its "old traditions". As a result, one of the products of secondary oral literature, Ekmek Teknesi, meets this need of the society.
