Item Open Access Bâburnâme : bir birey olarak Bâbur ve yeni bir nasihatnâme türü(2014) Akyol, ErcanBâbur,who was a Timurid descendant, lived in XV.-XVI. centuries and wrote his life story that took place between 1494-1530, in his well known memoirs Bâburnâme. The memoirsinclude the annual military, political and cultural incidences of Bâbur's life.Up to the present, Bâburnâme has been worked by historians and linguists in the academic field and it has been discussed from the point of literature in this thesis study. In fact, the link between Bâbur and literature is very strong and it can be understood by not only Bâbur's literary works but also the literary works which were remarked and quoted by Bâbur. In this thesis, by considering the adab literature in the first place, his perception of sovereignty has been discussed by analyzing Bâbur's memoirs to understand to what extent it was influenced from literary works and how Bâbur used and transformed that influence. Thus, the impact of literature on the world perspective of a monarch has been discussed and Bâburnâme has been revealed that it is not only a memoir, but also a new genre of mirrors for princes that is based on individual experience.
