Item Restricted An analysis of the destiny of Ahiska Turks following their deportation to the Soviet Union and Türkiye's policies for reintegration into their homeland, Türkiye(Bilkent University, 2024) Aliyev, Bilal; Karamatov, Yusufbek; Myrzagerey, Ansar; Tolegenov, NurmukhammedThe study analyzes the history and destiny of the Ahiska Turks, a Muslim Turkic-speaking nation historically living on the territory of Meskhetia in present-day Georgia. The primary subject of the study is the period after their deportation to the USSR in 1944 and the reintegration policy pursued by the Turkish government to return them to their homeland, Türkiye. The analysis covers three key periods: before the deportation, the period in the Soviet Union, and after its collapse, including all the events leading to the return of Ahiska Turks to their historical homeland. The purpose of the study is to understand why the Turkish government did not attempt to return the Ahiska Turks to their homeland during the Soviet Union and only started to implement this policy in the 1990s.Item Restricted "Bugün benim başımdaki ağrı / Yarın senin de başında..."(1987) Başaran, MehmetItem Open Access Corruption and economic development in energy-rich economies(Palgrave Macmillan Ltd., 2009) Kalyuzhnova, Y.; Kutan, A. M.; Yiğit, TanerWe empirically model the causes of corruption and test the economic development-corruption link in energy-rich economies, using data from 48 countries with energy resources. The results indicate that energy abundance may not necessarily hurt economic development in energy-rich countries, allowing enterprises to conduct business more effectively to reduce corruption, establishing a better political (democratic) regime improves corruption rankings, and finally while corruption reduces both the level of GDP per capita and its growth rate, economic development decreases corruption.Item Restricted Devlet yardımı(1994) Oktay, AhmetItem Restricted Government, scientists, and the priorities of science(1964) Maccoby, MichaelItem Restricted Multiculturalism and the challenge of anthropology(1992) Roseberry, WilliamItem Restricted Terörizm(1993) Fuat, MemetItem Restricted The industrialization of the mind(1969) Enzensberger, Hans Magnus
