    In this paper, the first book of Latife Tekin called Dear Shameless Death published in 1983 is discussed in the frame of "fear folklore". In this article, the significance that the author was born in Karacahevenk village of Bunyan, Kayseri and the trilogy of "magic realism, fantastic tale and holy writ" are examined.
