Item Open Access Moral enhancement: the case of oxytocin(2019-05) Sever Kıyak, BilgeBiomedical moral enhancement is the interventions to improve normal, healthy human beings’ moral capacities via biomedical methods. In this paper oxytocin use in these interventions and whether they are urgent are questioned. The defenders of moral enhancement insist that there is an urgent for biomedical moral enhancement because of the global problems. However, it is emphasized in this paper that there is not an urgent need for biomedical enhancement; rather there is a need for improvement people’s knowledge and awareness on these global problems.
