    Arrays of suspended plasmonic nanodiscs

    We demonstrate lateral arrays of suspended metal nanodiscs, erected in parallel, partially encased in a dielectric-wrap using in-template synthesis with their polarization-dependent properties controlled as a function of disc-gap/-width tailoring their scattering/absorption spectra. © 2013 IEEE.

    Heterodoped manoparticles as dual-mode contrast agent for MRI

    The purpose of this work is to synthesize Mn-Fe heterodoped ZnSe tetrapod nanocrystals (NCs) as dualmode MRI contrast agent to offer synergetic beneficial over the single contrast tracer. Also, in vivo feasibility of the Mn-Fe heterodoped ZnSe tetrapod NCs as a dualmode contrast agent has been studied.

    Single ultrafast diffusive conduction based optoelectronic switch for multi-channel operation

    For multi-channel optical switching, we report single ultrafast diffusive conduction based optoelectronic switches that accommodate >100 optical channels (with 2,000mm-2 channel density and <10% crosstalk), on 300μm×300μm devices with switching bandwidths of >50GHz. © 2005 IEEE.
