    Arif Altinkaya's interesting journey of inheriting the ancestral profession of coffin-making in Ankara, specifically Altindag, deserves historical attention. This was a practice that spanned centuries of a profoundly unique Islamic tradition passed on from the Ottoman Empire to the forefathers of Altinkaya and onto him, which he acquired, along with its hurdles.
