Bu araştırmada Cumhuriyet Dönemi’nde öncelikle çocuklarla kadınların haklarını gözetmeyi savunan Türkiye Yardım Sevenler Derneği Zonguldak Şubesinden bahsetmeyi esas aldık. TYSD 1928’de kurulmuştur, Zonguldak Şubesi ise 1942’de faaliyet göstermeye başlayarak Zonguldak’ta kurulmuştur. Derneğin genel merkezinin şubelere olan etkisi ve katkısı göz önünde bulundurularak Zonguldak Şubesi ile de nasıl bir iletişim ve yardımlaşma kurdukları araştırılıp öğrenilmiştir. Zonguldak Şubesi kurulduğundan günümüze kadar çeşitli başkanlara ev sahipliği yapmıştır. 2019’dan beri başkanlık yapmakta olan Emel Özdoğan ile yapılan röportajlar dahilinde derneğin tüzüğü, amacı, yardımları, gelirleri ve giderleri konusunda hem kuruluşundaki hem de günümüz şartlarındaki durumunu saptamış olduk. Derneğin genel merkezi ve şubelerinin mali yapısı tüzüğe bağlı olduğu için oldukça benzerdir ve birlikte yürütülüp yardımlaşma içinde çalışılıyordur. Zonguldak Şubesi içerisinde birçok eğitim faaliyetleri verilmiştir ve bu şekilde hem dernek halka tanıtılmış hem de onların katılımı sağlanmıştır. Dernek çalışma kollarında zaman içerisinde kapanma ya da değişikliğe gidilme olmuş ve öğrencilere olan yardım zaman içerisinde artmıştır. Bu bilgiler doğrultusunda TYSD Zonguldak Şubesi hakkında ayrıntılı bilgilere ulaşılmış olundu.

In this research, we have taken as a basis to talk about the Turkish Charity Lovers Association (Türkiye Yardım Sevenler Derneği) Zonguldak Branch, which advocated protecting the rights of children and women in the Republican Era. TYSD was established in 1928, and the Zonguldak Branch was established in Zonguldak, starting to operate in 1942. Considering the effect and contribution of the headquarters of the association to the branches, it was researched and learned how they established communication and cooperation with the Zonguldak Branch. Since its establishment, the Zonguldak Branch has hosted various presidents. In the interviews with Emel Özdoğan, who has been the chairman since 2019, we have determined the status of the association in terms of its statute, purpose, aids, incomes and expenses, both in its establishment and in today's conditions. Since the financial structure of the headquarters and branches of the association is dependent on the statute, they are quite similar and they are carried out together and worked in cooperation. Many training activities were provided in the Zonguldak Branch, and in this way, the association was introduced to the public and their participation was ensured. There have been closures or changes in the working branches of the association over time, and the aid to students has increased over time. In line with thisinformation, detailed information about TYSD Zonguldak Branch was obtained.
