Üniversite kütüphanelerinde değişim ve yenilikçi süreçte kütüphane yöneticileri

Bu çalışmanın amacı, kütüphane ve bilgi merkezlerinin yönetimi konusunda yöneticinin rollerini tartışmaktır. Çalışmada kütüphane yönetim fonksiyonları, bilgi yöneticisinin rolleri, yöneticilerin kullandığı kaynaklar ve günümüz yöne- ticilerinin sahip olması gereken beceriler ele alınacaktır. Bunun dışında, üniver- sitelerin ve üniversite kütüphanelerinin örgüt yapılarından örnekler verilerek tartışılacak ve gelişen teknoloji ile birlikte yaşanılan değişim sürecinde yönetim- den beklenilenlere değinilecektir. Literatüre dayalı olarak betimleme yöntemi ile gerçekleştirilen çalışma sonunda, kütüphane yönetimleri için gerekli olan değişim süreçlerini iyi ve doğru yönet- me, bu bağlamda stratejik planlama, senaryolar üreterek geleceği tahmin etme, projeler geliştirme ve uygulama gerekliliği vurgulanmıştır.

The purpose of this study is to discuss the roles of the administrators in the lib- raries and information centers. In this study, library management functions, the roles of the information managers, the resources used by the administrators and today’s administrators skills will be discussed. Apart from this, organizatio- nal structures of universities and university libraries will be discussed by giving examples and expectations from the management in the process of changing with developing technology will be mentioned. At the end of the study carried out with the method of description based on the literature, it will be emphasized that the need for good and correct management of change processes required for library management, strategic planning in this context, predicting the future by producing scenarios, project development and implementation will be emphasized.
