Bu projede Türkiye'nin önemli turizm merkezlerinden biri olan Belek ve BETUYAB, çalışma konusu olarak seçilmiştir. Bu çalışmada BETUYAB Yönetim Kurulu Başkan Yardımcısı Cemil Uğurlu'nun bilgileri ışığında türklerin misafirperverlik algısından yola çıkarak Türkiye'de turizmin başlama sureci ve sonrasındaki gelişim süreci ele alınmıştır. Belek'in turizm merkezi seçilmesinde kültürel, arkeolojik ve coğrafi kaynakların zengin olması etkin bir rol oynamıştır. Bu bölgenin turizm merkezi seçilmesinden sonra kentin sosyal, kültürel ve ekonomik yapısındaki değişimler ele alınmıştır. Bu gelişimlerden sonra Belek'in altyapı, çevre ve tanıtım potansiyeline sahip olmaması nedeni ile BETUYAB kurulmuştur. Bu kurum tarafından yürütülen çalışmalar sayesinde Belek turizminin kalite standartları yükseltilmiştir.

In this project, Antalya, one of the most significant tourism areas, has been selected as a study topic. With the help of Cemil Uğurlu's knowledge, Vice Chairman of the Board of BETUYAB, through the perception of hospitality of Turkish people, beginning and development period of Turkish tourism is addressed. Factors of why Belek has been chosen as a center of the tourism are social, cultural and economic features of this city. After these developments, because of insufficient potential of infrastructure, environment and promotion in Belek, BETUYAB is established. Through main duties of BETUYAB, Belek's quality standards are improved.
