Bu çalışmada, boşanma avukatlarının sunduğu perspektiflerden yararlanılarak 1960 – 1980 arası İstanbul’daki aile kurumu kavramsal ve hukuksal olarak açıklanmış olup sosyal sınıflar göz önüne alınarak boşanma olgusu üzerine araştırma yapılmıştır. Boşanma olgusu araştırılırken boşanma sebepleri ve yirmi senelik süreçte değişen kadın anlayışı arasındaki korelasyon dikkate alınmıştır.

In this study, the family institution in Istanbul between 1960 and 1980 was explained conceptually and legally by taking advantage of the perspectives offered by divorce lawyers. In the investigation of the divorce, the reasons for divorce and the correlation between the understanding of women and the changing manners of twenty years have been taken into consideration.
