The Korean War , between the years of 1950 and 1953, was a war that was fought between North Korea and South Korea, which gained international fame with China’s involvement and caused Korea to be divided into two parts, South and North Korea. As a result of the USA and the UN’s alliance with South Korea, all countries who were members of the UN had to send reinforcements. As a member of the UN, Turkey took part alongside South Korea, sending a brigade with 5090 members. The involvement of Turkey in this war benefited not only Turkey’s own future, but the protection of world peace as well. On the basis of all these, the Korean War, which resulted in the separation of a state, and the events that followed in that period are explained in this research with the help of Zeynel Kavlak, a martyr who took part in the said war. The support and success of Turkish soldiers in South Korea is an important event in Turkey’s history.en_US
