In this work, the effect of Au nanoparticles on the performance of a-Si:H solar cells is investigated experimentally. Au nanoparticles of 10, 20, 50, 80, 100, 200 and 400 nm are spin coated on ITO before metallization. The results show an increase in the Jsc and efficiency with increasing nanoparticle size. The Jsc increases from 9.34 mA/cm2 to 10.1 mA/cm2. In addition, the efficiency increases from 4.28% to 5.01%. © 2013 IEEE.

One-step synthesis of size-tunable Ag nanoparticles incorporated in electrospun PVA/cyclodextrin nanofibers Celebioglu A.; Aytac Z.; Umu, O. C. O.; Dana, A.; Tekinay, T.; Uyar T. (Pergamon Press, 2014)One-step synthesis of size-tunable silver nanoparticles (Ag-NP) incorporated into electrospun nanofibers was achieved. Initially, in situ reduction of silver salt (AgNO3) to Ag-NP was carried out in aqueous solution of ...
Multi-domain short peptide molecules for in situ synthesis and biofunctionalization of gold nanoparticles for integrin-targeted cell uptake Gulsuner, H. U.; Ceylan, H.; Guler, M. O.; Tekinay, A. B. (American Chemical Society, 2015)We describe design and synthesis model of multidomain (modular) peptides (MDPs), which direct a reaction cascade coupling the synthesis and surface functionalization of gold nanoparticles (AuNPs) in a single step. The ...
