Chiral metamaterials are attractive for their intriguing properties such as negative refractive index, optical activity and circular dichroism, and asymmetric transmission. In this paper, we review the research we have conducted for the purpose of investigating these exciting properties. © 2013 EurAAP.

On the measurement of productivity and environmental efficiency in the presence of the joint production of goods and bads : an application to OECD countries Yörük, Barış K. (Bilkent University, 2003)Productivity measures, which do not account for environmental performance, are biased. When it comes to incorporating the developments in environmental performance into the measurement of productivity, the traditional ...
Bulutay, Ceyhun; Zakhleniuk, N. A. (Wiley, 2008)Rapid development of InN technology demands comprehensive assessment of the electronic and optoelectronic potential of this material. In this theoretical work the effect of free electrons on the optical properties of the ...
Experimental study of subwavelength focusing by lefthanded metamaterials with a negative refractive index Özbay, Ekmel; Aydin, K. (2007)Two dimensional (2D) left-handed metamaterials (LHM) exhibiting negative refraction and subwavelength imaging are studied experimentally. A left-handed transmission band is observed at the frequencies where both dielectric ...
