Abstract
How much does Faruk Nafiz Çamlibel's poems fit to the tradition of folk literature in means of the usage of themes and forms? How has Faruk Nafiz dealt with the "Anatolia - City" opposition in his poems and how much does the emphasis to this opposition have to do with the tradition of folk literature? Finally, in this paper, while studying these questions, the difficulties that one comes through, because of the conceptual confusion in locating folk poems stylisticly will be discussed through the guidance of concrete examples.
