In this paper, we consider the stabilization of unstable periodic orbits for one-dimensional and discrete time chaotic systems. Various control schemes for this problem are available and we consider a recent generalization of delayed control scheme. We prove that if a certain condition, which depends only on the period number, is satisfied then the stabilization is always possible. We will also present some simulation results.

Abidi, K.; Yildiz, Y. (IFAC Secretariat, 2015)In this paper, we present the discrete version of the Adaptive Posicast Controller (APC) that deals with parametric uncertainties in systems with input time-delays. The continuous-time APC is based on the Smith Predictor ...
Abidi, K.; Yildiz, Y.; Korpe, B. E. (John Wiley and Sons Ltd, 2016)This paper proposes a control framework that addresses the destabilizing effect of communication time delays and system uncertainties in telerobotics, in the presence of force feedback. Force feedback is necessary to obtain ...
Yildiz, Y.; Annaswamy, A. (IFAC Secretariat, 2015)Adaptive Posicast Controller that is robust to delay-mismatch is introduced in this paper. Inspired from a recent result on guaranteed delay margins in adaptive control, the original adaptive laws of the above mentioned ...
