This data consisted of information on the major problems that the currently functioning systems are facing, various techniques and concepts developed to overcome these problems and evaluations on the effectiveness of such methods. With the help of the data and information gathered, a checklist on planning considerations for an underground train station was developed. The recently built Ankara Lightweight Public Transportation System's stations were observed and evaluated as a case-study, according to the issues raised in the checklist.
