Ustura Kemal: Çizgi romanlar üstünden 70’lerden 80’lere kadar Türk sosyolojik ve kültürel yapısı

Abstract

Ustura Kemal çizgi romanı, 1972 yılında Gün Gazetesi’nde hayata geçmiş ve sonrasında çeşitli gazetelerde varlığını sürdürmüştür. Ustura Kemal’in Türkiye’nin sosyolojik yapısına yansımaları, özellikle toplumsal cinsiyet üstündeki etkileri, hala görülmektedir. Haldun Seval’in yazarlığını ve çizerliğini yaptığı bu “yumuşak kalpli kabadayı” karakterinin Türkiye çizgi roman sahnesinde kendi janrasını oluşturan “kabadayı” ekolüyle ve ülkenin 70li ve 80li yıllarının sosyo-politik yapısıyla ilgileşiminin araştırılması; çizgi romanın dönem okurlarından alınan bilgilerle, konu uzmanlarının önceki yazılarının derlenerek bu fenomene ve Türkiye toplumunun bulunduğu noktaya bir yorum getirilmesi amaçlanmaktadır. Özellikle 27 Mayıs anayasası ile beraber ekonomik olarak refah seviyesi artan Türkiye Cumhuriyeti için halkın yanında duran “kabadayı” figürünün, Ustura Kemal çizgi romanın ve romanın da bu gerçek hayat figürüne kattıkları irdelenmiş ve bu iki ögenin etkileşiminin tamamlayıcılık boyutu yorumlanmıştır.

The Ustura Kemal graphic novel -which was brought to life in the Gün Newspaper in 1972 and continued its existence with various newspapers for many years, and its reflections on the sociological structure of Turkey, especially the effects on gender are relevant today to some extent. The relationship of this "soft-hearted hooligan" character -written and illustrated by Haldun Sevel, with the "hooligan" ecole -which forms its own genre in the Turkish graphic novel scene, and the socio-political structure of the country's 70s and 80s are investigated; To interpret this phenomenon and the state of Turkish society by compiling the previous articles of the subject experts with the information obtained from the early readers of the graphic novel. Especially for the Republic of Turkey, whose economic prosperity has increased with the 27th of May constitution, the "hooligan" figure standing next to the people, the Ustura Kemal graphic novel, and the novel's contributions to this real-life figure have been examined and the complementarity of the interaction of these two elements has been examined.
