Tarihsel süreçte Bulgaristan – Türkiye arasında küçük ve büyük ölçekli göçler gerçekleşti. Özellikle 1950 – 1951 yılları arasındaki zorunlu göç nicelik olarak azımsanmayacak büyüklüktedir. İkinci Dünya Savaşı sonrası Bulgaristan’da yeni kurulan hükümetin asimile etme politikaları azınlıklar için dayanılması zor bir boyuta gelmiş bulunmaktaydı. Zaman zaman gerilimlere de sebep olan göç iki ülkenin de verilen dönemdeki siyasetlerini etkilemiştir. 1950 – 1951 zorunlu göçü zamanında göç edenlerden biri olarak Nesibe Küçük ve ailesi Türkiye’ye döndüklerinde Maltepe’ye yerleşmişlerdir. Bu çalışmada Nesibe Küçük ve ailesi üzerinden göç sürecinde karşılaşılan zorluklar ve göç sonrası Türkiye’deki sosyal-ekonomik koşullara uyum sağlama süreci incelenmiş olup göçü tetikleyen faktörler ve göçün basında yansıması sunulmuştur.

In the historical process, small and large-scale migrations occurred between Bulgaria and Turkey. Notably, the forced migration between 1950 – 1951 is not to be underestimated in quantity. After the Second World War, the assimilation policies of the newly established government in Bulgaria had become difficult for minorities to endure. Migration, which also caused tensions from time to time, affected the policies of both countries in the given period. Nesibe Küçük and her family settled in Maltepe, Turkey when they returned to Turkey as one of those who migrated during the 1950-1951 forced migration. In this study, through Nesibe Küçük and her family, the difficulties encountered in the migration process and the process of adapting to the social-economic conditions in Turkey after migration are examined, and the factors that trigger migration and the reflection of migration in the press are presented.
