Item Open Access Avrupa'da "iyi müslüman" olmak: Hollanda örneği(Uludağ Üniversitesi İİBF, 2009) Bekaroğlu, Edip AsafMadrid (2004) ve Londra (2005) bombalamalarından itibaren Avrupalı Müslümanlar üzerinde bir “total şüphe” oluşmuştur. Bunun neticesinde Avrupa’daki Müslümanlar yaşadıkları topluma uyum sağlayıp sağlamadıkları konusunda daimi bir teste tabi olmaktadırlar. Müslümanların entegrasyonu üzerine yapılan tartışmaların muradı bir takım “iyi Müslüman” modellerini inşa edip öne çıkarmak, diğerlerini ise kötülemektir. Hollanda örneğine bakıldığında iki model öne çıkmaktadır: terk-i İslam ederek Hollandalı olmak ve İslam’ı liberalleştirerek Hollandalı olmak. Item Restricted Büyük hümanist Erasmus(1985) Günyol, VedatItem Open Access The first Dutch ambassador in Istanbul: Cornelis Haga and the Dutch capitulations of 1612(Bilkent University, 2003) Ari, BülentThis dissertation evaluates the granting of capitulations to the Dutch Republic by the Ottoman Sultan in 1612, and early years of first Dutch ambassador Cornelis Haga. The United Provinces, formed by seven provinces of the Low Countries in 1579, signed Twelve Years Truce with Spain in 1609. The truce was the beginning of Dutch primacy in world economy, which would last until mid 17th century. The Dutch Republic sent sent Haga to achieve grant of capitulations by the Sultan Ahmed I. Despite intensive opposition of Venetian, French and English ambassadors at the Porte, Haga fulfilled his mission and remained in Istanbul as resident ambassador. From Haga's arrival onwards, Vizier Halil Paşa Provided all kinds of assistance to him in establishing diplomatic relations with the Porte. In a few years Dutch consulates were opened in major port cities throughout the Mediterranean. Haga remained in Istanbul for 27 years, where he came for a temporary mission. Halil Paşa's protection was always crucial both for Haga and for the Dutch merchants. This study analyses the story of Haga as an ambassador relying on his register book including all diplomatic correspondences of his embassy. In other words, the dissertation is a case study for granting of capitulations by the Ottoman Sultan and the diplomatic maneuvers resorted to by other ambassadors at the Porte.Item Open Access International Outsourcing: Empirical Evidence from the Netherlands(2011) Tuluǧ Ok, S.This study examines the results of a fi eld survey on international outsourcing conducted in 2009 in the Netherlands. The research sample is composed of 156 Dutch enterprises from various industries. Empirical evidence shows that reduction of labor costs, improved competitiveness, strategic decisions taken by the group head and reduction in other costs are the main motivations for Dutch fi rms to engage in international outsourcing. Tax and regulatory advantages seem to play a lesser role. The motivations can be grouped into three distinct factors: access to cheaper resources and increasing competition, access to scarce and distinctive resources and reduction of other production costs. The most important impediments turn out to be problems with distance to producers, the need for proximity to existing clients, concerns about the outsourcing operation exceeding expected benefi ts and linguistic/cultural barriers. Violation of patents/intellectual property rights and uncertainty of international standards are not viewed as important issues. The impediments are captured by three different dimensions as indicated by the data: legal and governmental obstacles, human concerns and logistical diffi culties. © 2011 Vilnius Gediminas Technical University (VGTU) Press Technika.Item Restricted Şiirdeki Van Gogh(1993) Akın, SunayItem Restricted Van Gogh, kış ve tutsaklık(1998) Aydın, Serdar
