It is designed to encourage students to work in groups on projects concerning any topic of their choice that relates to the history of Turkey. It is designed as an interactive course with an emphasis on research and the objective of investigating events, chronologically short historical periods, as well as historic representations. Students from all departments prepare and present final projects for examination by a committee, with 10 projects chosen to receive awards.Includes bibliographical references (page 16).Konumu itibarı ile geçmiş yıllardan beri göçlere açık bir yer olma özelliği taşıyan Gökçeada’da bulunan ve hatta adanın en büyük köyü olma özelliğini taşıyan Dereköy adlı köyün nüfusunda zaman içerisinde çeşitli sebeplerden dolayı değişimler görülmüştür. Dereköy, zaman içerisinde çeşitli sebeplerden dolayı bu özelliğini yitirerek, adeta bir hayalet köy haline gelmiştir. Bu çalışmada Dereköy’ün yıllara bağlı nüfus değişimleri ve bu değişimlerin sebepleri incelenmekte olup aynı zamanda bu köyün bazı önemli özelliklerine yer verilmektedir.Due to its location, the population of Dereköy, which is located in Gökçeada, which has been a place open to migration since the past years and even has the feature of being the biggest village of the island, has changed in time due to various reasons. Dereköy has lost this feature due to various reasons over time and has become a ghost village.
