Attempting to define the act of artistic participation in social media and relocate it in contemporary art, I examine how collaboration in the development of an artwork becomes possible. This thesis accompanies exhibited artwork, which consists of a three-dimensional installation that procures generation of various stories by the rearranging of the flow of printed images of Instagram posts. I also aim to achieve a relational aesthetic by considering those “Instagram friends” as coworkers of a collaborative work, which further undergoes a transformation through each viewer-participant’s intervention in the gallery setting. Therefore, I assert that we have already been collaborating by creating and sharing through social media, and thus shaping the form of communication in the 21st century.xi, 72 leaves : illustrations.Englishinfo:eu-repo/semantics/openAccessAvant-gardeInstagramInteractive InstallationParticipatory ArtRelational AestheticsOur work in progress: instagram-sourced participatory storytelling installationDevam eden çalışmamız: ınstagram kaynaklı katılımcı öyküleme yerleştirmesiThesisB153411
