It is designed to encourage students to work in groups on projects concerning any topic of their choice that relates to the history of Turkey. It is designed as an interactive course with an emphasis on research and the objective of investigating events, chronologically short historical periods, as well as historic representations. Students from all departments prepare and present final projects for examination by a committee, with 10 projects chosen to receive awards.Includes bibliographical references (pages 18-19).Metal müziğin Türkiye’de oluşma süreci 1980 yıllarında başlamıştır. İlk olarak Devil ve Whiskey grubunun kurulmasıyla atılan bu adım, 1986 yılında Pentagram grubuyla devam etmiştir. Pentagram, Türk Heavy Metalinin ikinci ismidir. Fakat bu makalenin Pentagram ve onun varlığından kaynaklanan ilhamını konu alıyor olması, grubun ve bu zamana kadarki eserleri, eserlerini görsellikle desteklemiş ve destekliyor olmaları Türk metaline iz bırakmış ve 30 Yılın Hikayeleri Belgeselinde görülebileceği gibi, diğer gruplara ilham ve örnek olmuş olmasıdır. 30 Yılın Belgesel Yeni tarzlar denemeleri, bu ruhu sürdürmeleri birçok gruba kurulmalarında yardımcı olmuştur. Onların kuruluş süreci, verdikleri mücadele ve yıllar boyu gelişen müzikleri onlardan sonra, onlardan aldıkları cesaretle müzik üretmeye başlamaları dikkate değer bir konudur. Bu makalede Pentagram’ın kuruluşu, değişen dinamikleri ve müzik tarzları, toplumdan aldıkları olumlu/olumsuz reaksiyonlar, diğer gruplara nasıl öncü oldukları ve hala üretme motivasyonlarını nasıl muhafaza ettikleri, Grubun en eski ve hala mevcut olan üyeleri Tarkan Gözübüyük, Hakan Utangaç ve Cenk Ünnü’nün de kaynaklığıyla anlatılacaktır.The founding process of metal music in Turkey started in the 1980s. This step, which was first taken with the establishment of the Devil and Whiskey group, continued in 1986 with the band, Pentagram. In fact, Pentagram is the second name of Turkish Heavy Metal. But the fact that this article is about Pentagram and its inspiration from its existence is that the group left and still carries that mark. Experimenting with new styles and maintaining this spirit has helped many groups to form. The process of their establishment, their struggle and their developing music over the years, and the fact that they started to produce music with the courage they took from them is a remarkable issue.
