It is designed to encourage students to work in groups on projects concerning any topic of their choice that relates to the history of Turkey. It is designed as an interactive course with an emphasis on research and the objective of investigating events, chronologically short historical periods, as well as historic representations. Türkiye’de 1980’lerde amatör olarak oynanmaya başlanan buz hokeyi, 1991 yılında Türkiye Buz Hokeyi Federasyonu’nun kurulmasıyla gelişim göstermiştir. Gümüş Patenler Spor Kulübü, 1995 yılında Prof. Dr. Abdülkadir Dökmeci tarafından kurulmuş ve Türk buz hokeyine önemli katkılar sağlamıştır. Kadın ve erkek takımlarıyla bu sporu geniş kitlelere tanıtmış, buz hokeyi kültürünün Türkiye’ye yerleşmesinde öncü bir rol üstlenmiştir. Kulüp, altyapıya verdiği önemle birçok milli sporcu yetiştirmiş, Süper Lig’de ve diğer liglerde farklı kategorilerde birçok başarıya imza atmıştır.Ice hockey is a sport that combines speed, endurance and strategy. Ice hockey, which started to be played as an amateur sport in Turkey in the 1980s, developed with the establishment of the Türkiye Buz Hokeyi Federasyonu (TBHF) in 1991. The Gümüş Patenler Spor Kulübü was founded in 1995 by Prof. Dr. Abdülkadir Dökmeci and has made significant contributions to Turkish ice hockey. With its men's and women's teams, it introduced this sport to the masses and played a pioneering role in establishing ice hockey culture in Turkey.
