It is designed to encourage students to work in groups on projects concerning any topic of their choice that relates to the history of Turkey. It is designed as an interactive course with an emphasis on research and the objective of investigating events, chronologically short historical periods, as well as historic representations. Şehirlioğlu’un özellikle 1990’lı yıllardaki deneyimleri ve çalışmaları üzerinden harp cerrahisinin savaş alanındaki travmaların tedavisindeki rolü ve önemi vurgulanmaktadır. Şehirlioğlu'nun tanıklığı ve deneyimleri aracılığıyla günümüz harp cerrahisindeki teknolojik ilerlemeler ve tıbbi iletişim sistemlerindeki gelişmeler ele alınmaktadır. Bu çalışma, harp cerrahisindeki yenilikçi yöntemlerin ve teknolojik ilerlemelerin anlaşılmasına katkı sağlamayı hedeflemektedir.This article explores the historical development and significance of war surgery in Turkey through the experiences and observations of Prof. Dr. Ali Şehirlioğlu who is an expert in the field. Şehirlioğlu's experiences, particularly those from the 1990s, are highlighted to emphasize the role and importance of war surgery in treating battlefield traumas. Through Şehirlioğlu's testimony and experiences, the article explains the technological advancements and medical communication system developments in modern war surgery.
