It is designed to encourage students to work in groups on projects concerning any topic of their choice that relates to the history of Turkey. It is designed as an interactive course with an emphasis on research and the objective of investigating events, chronologically short historical periods, as well as historic representations. Bu örgütlenmeler İstanbul Devlet Mühendislik ve Mimarlık Akademisi öğrencilerine de yansımıştır. Bu araştırmada o dönemde örgütlere mensup olmuş öğrencilerle yapılan röportajlardan, gazeteler ve akademik makaleler gibi çeşitli dokümanlardan faydalanılarak 1980 İhtilali öncesi İstanbul Devlet Mühendislik ve Mimarlık Akademisi öğrencilerinin sol örgütlenmeleri anlatılmıştır. O dönemde yaşamış olan öğrencilerden aktarılan bilgiler ve anılar, dönemin siyasi iklimini ve siyasi karmaşanın öğrencilere nasıl yansıdığını anlamakta, o yıllardaki sol örgütlenmelerinin gerekçesini ve tarihçesini anlamakta oldukça yararlı olmuştur.Due to the political fight in Turkey before the 1980 Revolution, many disagreements and organizations were encountered. These organizations were also reflected in the students of the Istanbul State Academy of Engineering and Architecture. In this research, the leftist organizations of the students of the Istanbul State Engineering and Architecture Academy before the 1980 Coup were explained by using interviews made with students who were members of organizations at that time, and various documents such as newspapers and academic articles.
